Another good genuine Eickhorn etched bayonet. But I'll throw one comment in, that "gold wash" may be Nicotine stains. I can't remember seeing another one of these with a gold wash. You are spot on with the dress frog. Some dealers will try to tell you "D.R.P." stood for "Deutsches Reich Post" and this is a Postschutz bayonet.
The D.R.P. as seen on this type of frog was simply as Rossi says a patent protection mark for the metal back frog, that was supposed to be kinder on uniforms, not scruffing up the fabric. And in fact almost all of Postshultz bayonets were produced by Paul Weyesburg and would be numbered as well.
