Matching 1936 K98 Bayonet

I recently purchased this bayonet for my 1936 setup, it’s missing the frog but it’s in great condition and all matching with the s code stamp. If I’m not mistaken this was the first year of mass production for these bayonets. These are the sellers pictures as my picture set up doesn’t work too well for bayonets.

1936 is the first numerical date. Before that they used the letter "K" for 1934, and "G" for 1935. Best Regards, Fred

FP correctly mentioned, production of Gebr.Heller under code S/178 is known even from 1934,1935 under letter codes, this is a 1936 year, from the pictures hard to say, but the blueing looks like revived? any pictures on day light out of sun?

And 1936 was the first year the date was added to the blade spine "36". I have a feeling also it's been re-blued, probably during the war years as these older bayonets became quite shiny after 5 years of handling in service.
