Mundlos K98K Bayonet

1939 Mundlos bayonet in a S/172 1940 scabbard. The scabbard is more interesting than the bayonet as there were only about 25000 of them manufactured ( according to BCN ) Scabbard serial is 383J and there appears to be Isreali markings on the frog stud.

Hello looks like nice bayonet, could You provide serial number with letter of the Mundlos bayonet,yes the scabbard is scarce marking used postwar by israelis.best regards,Andy

I have another one of these not so common scabbards,with a bayo to match.

i have one of theese and was wondering about the origin the only problem is mine is quite old and we cant quite discern any markings on the metal frogstud as there is a big scuff ark,we also cant detach the scabard from the leather belt holster?(not too sure what to call it) as it is riveted on

the serial numbe ron it is "4013 b" on the actual bayonet and on the scabbard we cant make the full thing out but we can see "3204" there may be more but as earlier mentioned we cant removed the leather holster
