Need opinions on single etched short dress bayonet...
Hi all.
Something about this isn't sitting right with me, including the scabbard lug design (I've never seen this style before) but then again this is the first etched short bayonet I've handled, so I have nothing to compare it to and it might be 100% legit. I'm a dagger collector primarily so bayonets are outside my wheelhouse. Would love to hear opinions from some of the experts here.

HI Darren..hang tight and wait for the bayo guys to come along. The lug on the scabbard looks funny like a tear drop.
Im curious of the etch and the extra small etch seen in the photo below. What does that say? ...Geschutz?

Geschützt = protected, it is like Ltd. or Trademark
The knot ist for a Unteroffizier (NCO), but has seen too much UV radiation... it is very bleached.
Thanks Sleepwalker. What do you think about the dagger etching and the scabbard with the teardrop lug?
IMO the etch is good, Klaas made blade,but the scabbard is not for dress bayonet .
Thanks, but is the scabbard authentic? That's really my question. I've never seen the type of tear drop lug that this scabbard has.by stingray
The blade is marked Voos, not Klaas. Did Voos contract with Klaas for their blades?
