    The bayonet initially posted is from the Imperial period, 3 rivet grip is usually a sign of Imperial or Weimar era production. The maker mark on this one, WK&C (not WKC) predates WWII & is usually found on Imperial production items. Imperial & Weimar era items are often found with "weeping" holes in the lower parts of the grips. 3R era items do not have this feature. The Herder KS98 bayonet posted later is definitely WWII era production.
