i picked up this bayonet, i was told it was german and am wondering if someon can give me their opinion of what weapon it went too and what the stamp on the blade means

It's a German army dress bayonet. "ACS", means it was manufactured by Alexander Coppel Stahlwaren und Waffenfabrik of Solingen.
