Indetifying a political prisoner armnband concentration camp

Article about: Dear Forum Experts! I am afraid to ask but I really need help identifying this armband. Everything tells me it is a fake. But I have just recently staretd collecting so I am not sure. Please

    The above bands that look believable are fake too by the way I think, As they only had bands in camps with the function on them if I am not mistaken?

    SOLVED! I asked the seller and he told me it is an original but not from the WWII era, it was used l the years after in commemorations. Thank you everybody!

    That makes perfect sense, actually. Makes them collectible, too. As they still have some history to them.

    Having the name of the camp printed on it looked a bit far fetched. Not my area of collecting, just an opinion

    Camp inmate items are faked as much as SS items, if not more.
    I wouldn't image many of these items were saved after liberation, and few would have been taken as war trophies.
    This is the most difficult area in all TR collecting, as source material is very rare. And much was destroyed as the war was being lost.
