First, Welcome as a new WRF member.
Need some pics of the eagle to determine what you have. As far appraisals or value it is not something we are geared for on WRF. Best advice to a do research and homework. Check out dealer sites, last sold for, condition and rarity when assessing a value. Also, how bad do you want it for your collection. Hope to see some great pics of the eagle.

All I will add is this..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
To be honest...for me it's looking post war made.
The detail is lacking on the eagle also the swastika , my guess post 45.

I have seen these for sale in the past....very recently made.
Hi! The eagle shape remind me the Winterhilfswerk one
It looks like a post war production to me too. However, one has to say that it was made of oak wood quite elaborately with a lot of manual work. At least the eagle (indeed looks like the WHW eagle) was carved by hand. Probably last after the other decorations have been added and then the wood has been stained dark. This explains why the eagle appears lighter because it reappears in the natural hue of the oak wood. Either way, a beautiful, decorative piece.
