With the info that i got i searched further about this item, and found some complete ones.
I want to share the results here, for in case of future reference.
Some have a screw / pin, while others do not and are supposedly intended as to be hung on the wall ( "Wandhänger")
Unfortunately i could not find info about its true use, or period pics that show the item.
Also there was no mention about being a desk ornament, even thou i consider this possibility, or being a flag-pole, quite reasonable.
There is also a mention that i might have been a "decoration" in Deutsche Arbeitsfront- Betriebe, maybe on, or behind the ArbeitsfĂĽhrers desk..
Anyway, here are some pics of this particular emblem, with and without screw.
There have been a few posted here in the past. You would likely have found them if you searched in the right section of the forum.

Is this a good DAF desk emblem?
