    Hello all,

I'm on the hunt for the stahlhelm to add to my collection and I've found this (seemingly) very nice example for sale with a dealer.

I'm hoping to receive the usual input from our helmet experts on this forum and whether they agree that this is a good example!

    Thanks in advance,

A very nice looking example indeed.

    I like this one.
The decal looks, to me, like a Pocher - which is one of the decals seen on NS factory M40 helmets.
Nice finish and patina, and the liner appears to match the helmet overall - it has "believable wear".
The split-pins still retain their washers and don't look to have been fiddled with/kinked/bent.
I can't see the buckle too clearly, but I would still say the chinstrap is original and also looks like a good match to the helmet.
The liner drawstring looks like an original one.

I like this helmet and would be happy owning it. That all being said, wait for the helmet experts - but I still think this is a handsome one.

Hello all, just a quick note to say thank you for all of your input. I bit the bullet and bought this helmet and it now sits front and centre as the pride of my collection!

    Thanks again!

Heck of a nice helmet. With photos taken that well also it shows that close ups really are needed.
