Im not out of pocket much for this one, $300USD I’m thinking would it be worthwhile stripping this helmet back and fitting and repainting in feldgrau, fit an original liner and chinstrap and just display as a restored M40?

Like Jim and Terry say not a good one , not even close , we don't talk restorations in this forum section , best ask your questions in the right forum section for that.
