Japanese Medic Bag (Translation Request)

I recently acquired this Japanese Medic Bag and was hoping to translate the Kanji on it. It appears to be a first aid bag of some kind. I was hoping the Japanese writing could shed more light on its purpose/use. The writing is very faded but I was hoping that it could be made out partially. The bag is in very bad condition and has seen heavy use.

I have difficulty reading some of the kanji on the left, so cannot make a clear translation.
