Based on the sticky post, I believe the maker is: Remscheider Hobelmesserfabrik Josua Corts, Remscheid ?
Not sure of the other numbers are 6666 or 9999?

The piece is correct deciphered a S84/98 made by J.Corts Remscheid the number when matching is 9999 a which means a second series, the piece was unfortunally postwar sharpened, and mostly chromed, nickeled or polished, as it should be blued. On the first 2 pictures is the bayonet wrong way added into scabbard, date and code should be over it on both parts, same as number.
