    The bayonet was made by Eickhorn of Solingen in 1942. The scabbard was made by Josua Corts of Remscheid in 1944. The lot were overhauled and mismatched post ww2 in East Germany (DDR).

    Same opinion, the grips are replacements, postwar by refurbish in DDR probably, reblued, new flashguard, wrong way added into scabbard on some pictures.

    Yes those "waffle" style flash guards are typical with the DDR makeover.
