Sicherungs-Rgt 113: Landesschützen-Regiment 113 - Lexikon der Wehrmacht
Ahh I'll chuck in my other one that I did remember I had! different model of book type.
Not an easy unit to find information on but basically he belonged to a construction unit in 1943. Looks like in 1944 and onwards he was stationed in Berlin. There is a Willy Schmidt listed in Volksbund as being killed (or dying) in or around Berlin on 25th April 1945 and now residing in the Berlin-Wedding cemetery. The date of birth doesn't match (Volksbund lists him with a birth date of 4th January 1902) but it isn't unknown for Volksbund to have incorrect data such as this. Unfortunately it is a very common name.
Thank You Most Kindly hucks216, Very interesting
