    No idea, but others may know if there are markings on the bottom of the cup?

    Hi Rene nope .no markings it's a porcelain covered metal cup some dings to the lip but other then that in great shape .

    Very nice find, Gary.
    I cannot add much to your query, I’m afraid, only to say that it would be enamel, rather than porcelain (which would not adhere to metal and would shatter into a thousand pieces the moment you picked it up)!
    Otherwise, a lovely little piece. I’ve never seen one like it, though, as you know, there were many such items gifted by aristocracy and royalty (usually to officers, of course). The artwork and initials D.K. appear to be painted onto a plain white enamelled surface (suggested by the wear and scuffing), rather than being of fired enamels themselves.

    Yes the decorations are painted onto the cup .Something about this little cup that makes me smile
