    Just thought I´d share some of the wooden boxes or chests from 1941-44 in my collection (the last one is a photo album cover). These were mostly made by Russian prisoners of war but also to my knowledge imitated by Finnish soldiers in the trenches between 1942-1944. I store ww 2 pics in the boxes
    and Gebirgsjäger pics from Lapland in the album.
