Assman & Sohne SS Belt Buckle, real or fake?

Good afternoon today I have stumbled across an SS buckle for sale. Interestingly enough it’s on like the ones I’ve seen in the past. This particular SS buckle is apparently extremely worn, and so the details that I look for are hard to spot. There is a makers mark on the backside A&S, which I know stands for Assmann & Sohne.

The odd thing about this particular buckle in my opinion, is the fact that the Buckle has the dotted indents all over, I’ve never seen this on an SS buckle but on other branches such as Heer and Luftwaffe. I have not seen examples of this online.
