Any information on what branch of service this black belt represents?.
Under the size stamp ( 95 ) is also marked P.P.Bln.
Unusual buckle catch, on tab is stamped, Wunderlich Berlin 1940.
Thanks all
Brad

It is a generic black belt. A SS belt would be SS and RZM stamped.

Brad, ive seen this type of belt with that catch used by the Police Units, its not a combat type imo.

Brad, I am with the guys, more likely a Police Unit belt than anything else and as Bob stated if it was SS it would have SS stampings on it. Nice belt though

Hello,
nice belt with marker and P.P.Bln means Polizei Präsidium Berlin

Nice belt, I have an example for CTD which does work well with the SS aluminium buckle 822 as they are from the same maker.
A friend of mine also has the same catch on a belt/buckle set that he got direct from an LAH vet, so it was used, it's just not exclusively SS and if you can get it at the right price - go for it.
I too have seen it used only with Police buckles. That is just my experience with it. No way of knowing if SS or not....but the good news is that it's real!
It's in great condition. I have one with the same catch that came with a police buckle - but it's not nearly as nice!! Mine is more worn.
Cheers!
Rob
