    Yes it is a ground off GZM buckle

    I agree with you Iván that the SS buckle shown is a rare GZM M1/131, albeit ground excavated and in a somewhat distressed condition.

    Perhaps I am wrong, however I thought that some of these decidedly odd SS GZM buckles are known, unmarked.

    Indeed and as we have all known for a very long time.

    The “Thiel” link that I provided was simply a reminder for those interested, towards buckles and not exclusively SS, which may have a Danzig “connection”.
