SS Belt and Buckle for Review

I purchased this Belt and Buckle in the late 1980's. Being new to the Forum I would appreciate your opinion as to originality and current value. Many thanks in advance.

Collector to collector price £300 - £350


The market for these common ones has dropped, plenty out there for sale that are not selling imo.

Thank you everyone who has replied. What is the approximate date of manufacture? I assume that the leather belt is original to the buckle? Would this buckle have been issued to the political SS as opposed to the Waffen SS?

Buckle was made in the early 30,s, the belt would not have been issued with the buckle for a SS Mann
