Hello mate and welcome to the forum, have a look under the prong sleeve and it should be marked, Assmann made buckle 155/40 nice belt to go with it

Yes mate its original, I would like to see the markings but I like what I see from the pics provided

I thought I looked there and did not see any, but maybe i did not pull it back far enough

from the Pictures it looks like a 100% original from 155/40 or 155/43 > Assmann as Ben explain ........

I agree, good Assmann buckle, possibily 155/40 because the low foot of the catch habitually is wider in the 155/43 type1
