SS Buckle

Hi Friends, Please give me your advice, observations, & feedback on this buckle. I know these are not very good pictures but before I ask for more I wanted to know if it had a chance of being authentic or not.

Hello Friends,

This buckle is available near me. It was originally listed at $900 which was way too high and out of my price range. I see it is now listed for $300. What do you think? I do not have an SS Buckle. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I would go for it at $300.

If indeed original as Ben said it was...a Rodo with that percentage of paint coverage & it's current condition even with the damaged prong, that is a very good price. The Rodo green buckles are quite desirable & command a bit more than other wartime makers of SS buckles
