I half to say I'm optimistic. All in all it looks ok to me. The buckle has honest wear and age, the ears, catch and roller bar compare well to the example in Ben's thread. Any maker marks? Clearer shot of the front would help but I like your chances. IMO a good buckle. Others more experienced than myself will chime in shortly. Best regards.

The first owner cleared the front of the buckle. On the underside of the buckle are traces of silver color.
The cleaning of the buckle is unfortunate, but it still retains a fair amount of detail which is good. Upon further study comparing the buckle's ear sizes, yours seems to be smaller than Ben's posted example, but I don't believe that alone is enough to render it a fake, or it could be the angle of which they were photographed?
