Hello,
I now get the SS belt buckle. I made many pictures of it.
The belt buckle has a weight of ca.20g and a diameter of ca.49,4 cm.
I think it's a nice worn original.
Best regards Torsten
Torsten, I like the buckle and I also think it is an original buckle, I cannot see any cast marks on it, lets see what JP says about it. If it turns out to be a fake buckle then we are in alot of trouble!
Ben
These are indeed made to be sold "pictures based". But it is now how most people are buying: from the web. Even if that particuliar one had revealed itself in hands, we can be sure the production already involved. Keep in mind the cast EM 822/38 and 36/38's were close to perfect already back to 2004 and overall size has been corrected to match originals as well. I had those in hands and really makes you wondering. Saying to not be too worry is wrong IMO. Beter be too much than not enough ...
Hello,
no other one more opinion? I looked on the web and some of the original SS leader belt buckles found for comparison.

I have seen some very good cast buckles, they are Czech made. The material used is softer than aluminium, and the colour is more graphite. They are very good made. And if I will buy a buckle, I want hand inspect them
