I have a early SS dagger and it has a bunch of white water stains on one side of the blade. The blade at one time was mint , still has all the cross grain and mirror like finish is still there , but has white water stains on one side of the blade. I tried semichrome and WD40 several times , doesnt seem to do any good. What do you guys recommend ?

Post photos first off ....water or moisture that rests for decades on the high part of the runners is already too deep into the steel ...not much you can do to remove it.

Do Not clean it any further of you will begin to devalue the dagger.
