Very nice Chained SS dagger, if you don't sell it, please get in contact with me on it.

The lower guard may have beed replaced with one from an SA ?
Also might have a ground off inscription, if there is no maker present ?
Interesting !

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
The lack of makers mark is correct: these daggers should not have maker marked blades.
The dagger has surely been taken apart at some stage as evidenced by the screws etc. The lower crossguard is from an SA dagger.
Cheers, Ade.

Not many SS daggers floating around over here - chained or otherwise !
I do see a lot of SA, but SS are THE dagger to have.

Hello there,
Shouldn't have a problem moving a beauty like this!

Wow that's nice one. These things go for A LOT of money, especially with the chain and everything, but I would hold on to it!

Ade's correct. That Gau marking shouldn't be there. It's from an SA dagger.
I'm not an SS collector so i'll demur a bit. I would post it on GDC in the SS dagger section. You'll get everything you need to know. They'll give you every little detail..both good and bad, and probably give you a good parkpark value for both a collector to collector, and collector to dealer sale. Link below to the SS sub-forum:
