Am very excited to own a piece of history with this dagger.
Ross Kelbaugh did the research?
Impressive to say the least
Why do you need help with this?

No just happy to finally own/win a bid on a legit SS dagger. Ended much more expensive than the fake ones, but worth it. Thanks to you for pointing the fake ones I bought and managed to get a refund.
Just a heads up Radnus although the dagger has provenance and it appears Ross did the research on the number...the grip eagle has been replaced and if you take close notice to the pick marks on the wood around the grip eagle...you will see no stress , scratches or lifting on the present eagle.
At Best ..the eagle head halo would of been damaged being the closest to the pick mark.
There is some wood loss due to time ..which is acceptable ..but a few places do show physical stress where the wood was indented.

I still feel extremely lucky to win the bid to get this one, as there was heavy competition. I don't intend to be a big collector, but wanted to own at least one SS dagger - but a legit one.
The lower and upper parts of the grip are known to sometimes have chipping..thats normal wear and age.
You done well acquiring a Heinous individuals SS dagger with a history.

There is even a wiki page for him

What adds value to a dagger?
Is it the maker?
Is it the owner?
Is it the condition?
Is it the model?
I assume all four matter, but am wondering about the factor they matter. Just curious....
It just seems all over the place from what I am seeing.
