Article about: Hello All I hope you are all doing well and staying calm during this season. I may have an opportunity to purchase this 33 pattern SS if I can get the price within reason it has been abused

To see this engraving on a M33 would be possible if it would be a SA dagger, as the Handwerkskammer were put under control of the NSDAP.
In the days before Hitler came to power these Handwerker offices had many Jewisch craftman in them (goldsmiths etc.), so to solve this they were put under control of the party and they put Herman Göring as their honour Leader.
Herman was also awarded with the honour ring of the Handwerkertag in 1939:

Golden Honourring of the city of Frankfurt, Ehrenring der Stadt des Deutschen Handwerks 1938

Der "Reichshandwerksmeister" führte den "Reichsstand des Deutschen Handwerks" (später "Reichsgruppe Handwerk").
So the Meister was the head of the office, certainly a Party member, unlikely to be in the SS

He was a NSDAP member, and the SA and more such as a member of the Reichstag. His successor Reichshandwerksmeister was a NSDAP-Kreisleiter, and also in the SA. If you look at the early years and some of the various individuals that were given membership in the SS it was not for military ability, or some other skills. It was to gain some advantage for Himmler. Among other things, one of the underlying purposes of NSDAP involvement with the crafts/trades was to keep workers from becoming too independent (and possibly not complying with NSDAP goals).

Change of topic: That is certainly a beautiful ring with excellent workmanship that says a lot of what I was trying to communicate about talent versus an amateur's attempt - but much better than I could do with words. Best Regards Fred.

Regrettably, that is also my thinking. In my early days (as a gun collector - blades were later) I would sometimes see previously abused low value guns with all sorts of amateur or "in-training" projects for sale. With the really sad part being that while there might be buyers who were OK with lesser original condition items - most were not with amateur "enhancements". This last image trying to better illustrate the non-professional improvised multi-step engraving. Best Regards, Fred
