Ss 1933 pattern dagger original or not
Hello fellow collectors i would like to ask you all about this ss 33 pattern dagger i have the chance of buying it and would be most grateful to find out the opinions of experienced ss dagger collectors many thanks for all help received

The blade is the later end of the mid period production all the rest is early to mid production fittings.
I like the looks of it...what is normal to see is all mid period production materials used ..which all should be plated fittings and the scabbard painted black and not anodized.

Those crossguards look like solid nickel at first glance, but I think they are plated. What's unusual is the blued scabbard. I like it too.

thanks skylinedrive for your help i am going to contact seller about the scabbard to see if it was originally painted then cleaned of with wire wool
i have a SA dagger that suffered from to over cleaning to the scabbard back down to metal
