Your instincts are correct:
- The grip is a redone or reconstructed effort and I don't like the area around the eagle either. Or the eagle or rune button themselves.
- The lower guard is a much later zinc injection molded plated example with the plating flaking off. The upper guard appears OK
- The scabbard appears to have early screws at the top and steel dome head screws at the bottom and it looks like different colored upper and lower fittings
- The throatpiece is not fully seated on the upper scabbard fitting from what I can see.
The blade photos are not close enough to tell much.

The dagger is a repro. The 121/34 logo should be facing the other way. All of the other parts are post-war as well.
