Seeing as it's apart, can you find out the letters stamped insided top and bottom cross guards?

That may help determine things

I´m not collecting SS-dagger´s but I´ve got a question.

If there´s no maker´s-mark on the blade, it could be the blade of an M36.

Is there on the crossgard an "roman-one", ("I") ... ?
The "I", "II" and "III" were "Gebietsstempel" and they´re marked on crossguard´s of "early" M33´s ...

But, as I sayed, I´m only asking.

Pammy, where do you keep coming up with the edged weapons you have, only things like that I ever find are in the $3,000 to 5,000 dollar range, way out of my league, but real or not, that is my favorite dagger, ever. you find something great every day. guess I just live in the wrong country. anyway it looks nice to me. god you have some great hook up' s thanks for showing it, like I said it is my favorite dagger EVER.
