First of all you need to know which makers produced early SS daggers

Not what it seems in my opinion.
The scabbard is a later RZM product with dome head steel screws
The grip is either refinished or new and the upper guard does not look like an early guard - look at the grooves
There is a "I" on the front of the lower guard. It is backwards if it is real
Detail of the blade is not good enough to say much
Gustav Spitzer did have 2 SS contract codes in 1938 and 1939

No early production by this producer and as Dave pointed out ...the dagger appears made of parts with a very hazy blade photo.

It is so easy to be fooled by what looks like a good original dagger.
But it's lucky that these forums exist
