Still hard to judge, looks like an RZM one? Have you a picture of the maker?

No, sorry. It is going up for auction and these are the only pictures. I'm going to e-mail them to see if they can send me more pictures.

If it's for the right price, I'd take a gamble,

It looks ok, blade looks right, not too much shrinkage in the woodwork, Adler looks an alloy one, which would confirm its a transitional, or RZM and the vertical is worth a couple of hundred pounds.

Depends though, if its right, the price will probably go silly. Ball park figure to pay would be approx, and only approx £1100-1300, don't forget the auctions commission

Don't forget though Reddick did some very good copies, but they are easy to tell if you get the right pictures. You want, if you can a picture of the maker, and one of the billet clamp marks on the tang

i like the look of it Dave if it was me i think i would also take a chance, if anything i could question it would be the vertical hanger but that's just me looking for a fault, and that dosent affect the dagger, best of luck
