From the limited photos it looks proper. The one on the black background is a different dagger all together.
Steel pommel nut, plated fittings, aluminum eagle, copper runes, and RZM period style grip. It's typical 1940 ish construction.
Hi thanks for the message
Yes that’s a different also at auction but with only one photo sadly
Thanks for your help
I have added some further pictures of another dagger in the auction that has a chain if you are able to share your opinions on that one I’d be very grateful too
Thansk
Once again, and only going on limited photos, it looks proper. Abet for the chain repairs, new connectors, etc.
Okay thanks very much for your help
In your opinion does that fact it’s got chain repairs massively devalue it? Do you know what the going value would be for these is gbp ? Wouldn’t particularly want to over pay
Thanks again for your time
first 4 photos late production as JR has commented being a Type C ..the grip IMO may be a recent replacement ...but without the chain assembly ..there is low value.
The last 5 photos the dagger is trying to be an early production period Type B1 ..and also as mentioned has been messed with.
Continue your journey and wait for a whole unmessed with example.
Regards Larry
