    Default SS Ground Rohm Eickhorn

Bought this along with the SA I have just listed - a wonderful and quite rare Ground Rohm SS - sadly the factory grind was good, and there has been some spotting on the blade. But the fittings are tight and nice, sadly the handle has been repaired - period?- but the anodised scabbard is lovely. And the bottom ball is not dented - marked 111 for Berlin on the lower cross guard .........Not often you see an early SS Rhome dagger. With the dedication it would be worth 15k.....oh well I'm happy

HI John I see the repair on the lower front grip triangle..and the grip is Eickhorn without a doubt .

cant help water spots no matter what type of dagger..and due to conditions it was found in or storage over the years. I would like to copy it to the Rohm dagger thread in the SA forum.

    Nice find John

John im a bit suprised seeing the bad fit between the lower scabbard fitting and the throath.
Totally not what i expected on an early Eickhorn, normaly you just cant get a hair between them.
They fit so well that the blade preserve pretty well even in bad conditions.
I have seen eicks with rusted scabbards, skrinking grips and still having a mint blade.
To be honest the rounding seems to be a bit different from the both, or didnt you have it properly in its scabbard?
