Looks good to me. The carabiner is made by Assmann.

    Nice original, no doubt.

Looking at the well worn strap, wouldn’t you expect to see wear on the back, too, and especially on the loop, which holds the snap hook?

The very thick and stiff leather will hardly be effected by the weight of the dagger.
I have seen stiff and less stiff backing leather, not all wear was the same eventho the retaining strap is of very thin leather and in all cases have suffer from the weight of the dagger and show in many cases so many wear that they snap, even with a back that hardly suffer by the weight and only wiggels on the cloth of an uniform.
The rivets that holds the loop leather to the back are the propper ones and the snap for sure is a period one, the strap that holds the dagger in place is way thinner and holds the dagger, so more wear is to be expected.
I see np with this one therefore.

Compare the area where the snap hook holds the leather loop.

In the upper picture is the vertical hanger from the thread here. No signs of wear at the red arrows.

In the lower picture is another vertical hanger with proper signs of wear at the yellow arrows.

The lower vertical hanger (with the real signs of wear) is the one from this thread:

So because it shows less to no wear it shouldn't be ok?
Sofar I have NEVER seen a repro hanger showing original snaps and rivets and retaining loop with fake backing, makes no sense at all.
    Look at this one....

And now look closely inside the yellow circle, a lot of wear almost a snap, but in the red circle and on the backside you see no wear at all.
    This one is 1000% original.

Did I say that? No. I was just asking. But your last pictures are convincing. Thanks for sharing.
