Were u guys smoking weed or something? I can hardly make out its a helmet. Take some new shots and try n see if u can post the maker & size?

that camo takes me back to my childhood ,in school we use to slice a potato in half to make potato stamps then dip in different coloured paints ,just my thoughts
because of the crap pictures, I wouldn't be too quick to write this one off. In hand it may look a whole lot different . The camouflage scheme may look odd now (if it is original), but when it was freshly done - it might just have been some soldier's attempt at copying pea camouflage. As for SS...But who can tell (given the pictures)?
Cant tell much from those pictures thats for sure.

Liner is definitely a postwar addition.
Fake aging on the liner - not a good sign. If you are near Allentown, PA I suggest going to the AG Hall Forks show to see some helmets up close. NH
