....maybe we have the chance to see better this decal soon.
so we are still in time to change idea about it once we see a better snap. concerns are when the pictures are of low quality as those on the site.

In hand the decal is a one looker , I also liked it from the photos here.
I also looked at it with the portable USB microscope.
I think we spend more than half an hour looking over this helmet if not longer.
The way the border has these little damages is typical for these Q decals.

I also looked very hard at the netted helmet that is on FJM44 militaria :-)

But went home with a nice DD LW by Quist.

Nothing better than having the helmet in hand Frank.
we know pretty well how much some are not easy to judge through pixels. David, me and Anders raised questions and i guess that's due to the picture mainly.
...if you also spent half an hour to check it carefully and armed with USB microscope it means that there wasn't other ways than scrutinize it that way as to be 100 % sure.
so again... great to know it is a good one and you were there as well to check it once for all.

    what's about the netted?
now we need to see your new piece

Bad pictures and a healthy bit of sceptisism makes us sometimes a little too careful or analytical , I am no different.
Look at 10 Q runes and they will all look a bit different , some very toned , some very silver.

The ET and EF runes for some reason are more easier to validate by photo I find. They are more consistent.

    Correct.
Also Pocher and Quist are better faked and i have never seen a good insidious EF repro. for the ET i agree 120% with you through photo are more consistent

Yes we do not often have the chance to see helmets discussed in the flesh so to speak.
I already saw it at the fair but the new owner asked me to photograph it and use the microscope on it.
I had my portable with me at the fair so I was sure of the decal but it is not good to photograph with it.
If there is any interest or necessicity I will add the close-ups to the thread.
