dering if you could tell me more about this helmet. It is being sold at auction and I am interested in your opinion of this helmet.
I'm interested in what's original and what's not on the helmet.

Hello Jan , in order to get detailed responses on SS helmets you need to have decal close ups. Without close ups,it would foolish to buy any TR helmet or any TR item for that matter.
But based on what is provided you better not bid on it.

Just looking at the patina, it appears to me that the entire painted surface has been lightly sanded inside and out. That if so, should be a large red flag of a helmet that's been messed with.
