Welcome to the forum, as said a very nice double decal M35 HEER helmet in super condition. The chinstrap is probably made by KLATAU from the letters you can see. Keep it in the family, you can never replace your heritage! Leon.

Looks to be a text book stunner !!!! ...... Keep hold of it !
Indeed it is stunning, and the way the liner drawstring is laced is something we see sometimes and wonder about.
This confirms it was done at the time by soldiers.

Your Dad had good taste in souvenirs. It's a cracker of a helmet and worth a small fortune, congrats
Here are more pictures as promised. Is there anyone who might venture an estimate of what the helmet might be worth? There is no doubt that it is in good hands here on this site. Thanks
some way north of a couple of thousand dollars IMO.
Stunning helmet! Keep it in your family as I have a few of my own dad's souviners. timothy
Thanks for the additional pictures! I can see the dome (acceptance) stamp.
I think the crowd here has given this an enthusiastic two thumbs up. An absolute cracking lid! And as everyone has said.....KEEP IT in the family. The monetary value is second to the family value!

Michael
