Hello All,
I've been offered this helmet and was just wondering if its authentic or not. I've no idea, I've posted it here to get opinions, I only have these three pictures. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You

I don't think anyone would be able to pass an informed judgement on those photos, sorry
Suffice to say a DD camo? ................. Rare as hen's teeth, so i don't hold out much hope, unless it's for sale above $8K?
Actually John, price 550 Euro. Came through unsolicated email.
It could not really get much worse: unsolicited email, poor censored photos and too cheap!
Cheers, Ade.
I fell for that once early on in my collecting years. When the helmet came I realized it was repainted and the decal could easily be scratched off.
Hi Everyone,
I've just had a look over on WAF helmet section. The same pictures are up there, apprentely the same email is doing the rounds, the helmet has also been offered to a collector in Canada. The common wisdom on WAF, like here, was that its a fake. Thanks everyone for the impute.
And a wrong shield, even from that pictures. Other reasons agreed to, why is being private offer the insignia is hidden.
Regards,
Dimas

We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
