Sorry this is not on orginal in my opinion. Fake decal and fake paint plus fake wire.
The wear is artificial to the rim and air vent.
Cheers, Ade.
I agree with Ade all fake i'm afraid

A very bad quality modern decal and bad artificially aged paint. I don't like the white helmets with the wire over

Hi,
Looking carefully at the helmet i can see that as said before it is all fake. IMO, The white is not period paint the vent have been artificialy worn as the wear is uniform also the front rim has been rubbed down to look like wear. As in a original it would have been chipped not rubbed, the decal is modern and has no sign of wear
at all. The wire is not uniform to the helmet as there is no sign of wear on the helmet from the wire, And lastly the Paint ie, rusting
there are brush marks indicating hand brushing and ageing.
As they say three bobs worth.
Dave.
Have to agree with the above posts on it. Not good at all, sadly
I can not tell you anything about decals or helmets but I have to agree that in the paint job one recognize technics that are often used on scale figures . No offence ment to anybody practicing that hobby or job.
Looks great as a film attribute but not as a genuine ss helmet.
thanks to all you have been very kind, sorry but i dont speak english very well
i also would say fake ,but the shell and liner may be ww2.
