Waffen SS m42 helmet fake or real?

Hey guys

I just got this waffen ss m42 helmet from a friend of my grandad. But I got my concerns if it's an authentic one. I can't see any mark in the shell. He said the interior got some restoration (metals for the straps and mount on the shell). When I use my magnifying glass on the decal (see picture), it shows these black marks (printed?) on the white.

As long as it didn't cost you anything I wouldn't worry too much, but if you paid for it - ask for your money back. It is appallingly bad.

It’s a repainted relic helmet and as Steve said it is a bad one at that, you can even see the printed pattern in the decal.
