That early Assmann eagle is really nice. I just picked one up with less finish than yours

Thanks Aldo!This eagle I bought from an old collector about 25 years ago.Paid 300.00,young and dumb,told him that was a crazy price,he said if you dont want it thats ok,these are gold and a good investment.Well he was right ,this eagle would bring 1k or more today if it came up for sale.ha

Yes Sir, I paid a little more than double what you paid but I saw one listed for $1,100 on a reputable site and it’s not nearly as nice as yours. Great eagle!

I bought this Wagner cupal eagle, I would guess in the 80's, for likely around $100. at a gun show.
It was missing one of the prongs. but I attached another for display purposes.
I thought it was real, but I really had no idea.
