I'm glad you posted the back. That's a nice skull that predates WWII but seen on a variety of caps including early SS, Heer , Danzig Polizei and even Freikorps. No way to know the maker for sure but a fairly rare skull.

Al, thanks for your help. I had been reading here on the forum and had seen similar style danzig in other postings. These are super fun to research ive read page after page lol
