Re: The Belgian made SS cap skull
Hi Dimas, I bought this one over 25 years ago now. I was told it was Belgian made back then, but at the time I had no real idea. But I only discovered the makers name this year.
Cheers, Ade.

WOW nice good reference material for us!!

Re: The Belgian made SS cap skull
I'm suprised this didn't have more of a response when you posted it Ade, you don't see these often! Would these have been produced for the SS in Belgium, or just distributed generally like the usual cap skulls?
Thanks for posting, and thanks for digging this up Teutonicknights!

Re: The Belgian made SS cap skull
Hi Mat and Mike, thanks for bringing up some old gems. The forum was still new back then and we only had a couple of hundred members, so many old threads never got much of a comment. Great to see how we have grown over the past few years.
These were made for private purchase in Belgium.
Cheers, Ade.
PS: Just to make you sick, it cost me £8 back then.....

As an aside, Kris (stuka f) has over 5000 dies for military badges in his collection, many from the Indian Caps Co. of Antwerp.

Re: The Belgian made SS cap skull
£8..? You must have forgotten to add a nought or two on the end there! Haha
Very nice catch, it's incredible how prices have soared over the years. I assume £8 was a bargain for the time too, surely? I was over the moon with acquiring my TK for £75!
I've just added these photos to my reference picture collection, and you might want to add these to the sticky thread Ade!
