Belgian SS cap Totenkopf

I finally located a decent Belgian SS skull at a fair price. The skull only exhibits about 30-40% of it's original finish with mostly the zinc showing. Typical mess on the reverse with tons of solder and crude pins. It fits in nicely with my relic Belgian skull. I did notice that this one must be a variant with the upside down "heart" shaped nasal cavity. Most of the other Belgian skulls have a triangular shaped nasal cavity. Feel free to post your Belgian skulls for comparison.

I really like these very detailed woven skulls, in all their many variants.

My first SS TK was a Bevo one.

I was just 12 years old when I picked it up ................. at school, in exchange for a 'Commando' comic !!

These really were the good old days.

Great stuff Robin. I've only managed to pick up three over the years. The one I posted, another one I plan on restoring onto my SS schiffchen and a tropical version. These are quite addictive too.
