Danziger skulls? or ss?

hello all! I have got these skulls at a auction. and I was wondering if they are good! and if they are ss of skulls for other regiments or divisions. I have read some thing about these skulls but I am stil nog 100% sure

Maybe you can put pictures seperate in pairs from the back and front. Makes it easier

Yes the first one is one of the Berlin hoard variety. It's one of two very common types. there are many threads on that type you can search for

The second one is a rare type of Danziger skull sometimes seen on early SS caps

Raymond, how much did you spend on the lot?

The Berlin hoard type used to sell for about $150 but i've seen them as much as $250. The other type in the $300 - $400 range. Those are retail prices from a dealer.

This particular one is really nice because it retains a lot of the silver finish. Most of these early Danzigers have very little finish. Can you post the rear of it as well

There are also two variants of this type. You can see the difference in the teeth. Yours is like mine here with gaps between the teeth. It's the same skull that is featured in the book by Resnik who took most of his images from this forum and many from my collection








The other variant has slightly different teeth
