Nice original zinc Deschler, too bad about the damage, but it still makes for a nice display. The late war 3 prong Assmann may not be ground dug just suffering from zinc pest from poor storage and exposure to too much moisture. apply a light coat of petroleum jelly to slow down the deterioration process. I have an earlier Assmann suffering from the same malady. Mine is worse than yours though.
